Family Dress Guide

A great outfit can truly impact how your family photos turn out

Here’s our recommendations.

Details matter

Our family lifestyle space features a soft, neutral, boho-inspired design. Choosing outfits and tones that complement this aesthetic can truly elevate your images from simple to stunning. Think warm neutrals, soft textures, flowing fabrics, and earthy accents that blend beautifully with the space rather than compete with it.

When your clothing coordinates with the setting, everything feels cohesive and intentional. The result? Timeless, artful images that feel effortless, elevated, and beautifully styled.

Hair & Grooming

Make sure hair is brushed, styled, or trimmed as needed. For little ones, a light mist of water and a quick comb-through can make all the difference.

Fitting

Avoid clothing that’s overly tight or too loose. Well-fitted, tailored pieces always photograph more beautifully.

Smart watches

If you’re more comfortable keeping your smart watch on, that’s absolutely fine. However, removing it often complements the soft, timeless feel of the space a bit better. Taking it off helps maintain a more cohesive, classic look in your images.

Socks

Our studio is shoe-free, so be sure socks are clean and coordinate with your outfit.

Prints & Logos

Skip the loud print and bold logos that pull focus away from what matters most. Stick to knits, woven and one color fabrics

Pockets

take out keys, phones from your pockets. A clean and smooth look always looks better

Don’t Skip the Accessories

Simple pieces like stud earrings, a watch, or a delicate bracelet can complete your look. Keep it minimal so nothing feels distracting.
